Q1 2024 Train Games Performance on iOS in the US: A Sensor Tower Report

In the first quarter of 2024, train-themed gaming apps have continued to entertain and engage users on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at the performance of the top train games during this period.

Train Station 2: Steam Empire from Pixel Federation Games saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at nearly $100K in March after a dip in February. Downloads for the game showed a decreasing trend, from 7.7K in the first week of January to around 4.4K by the end of March. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 51.8K and ending the quarter with 44.4K.

Train Conductor World, developed by THE VOXEL AGENTS PTY. LTD., experienced modest revenue with the highest at $9.1K in February. Downloads and active users remained relatively low, with downloads hovering around the 100 mark weekly and active users declining from 736 to 531 through the quarter.

Newcomer Train Miner: Idle Railway Game by AI Games FZ had an impressive start with downloads spiking to 94.4K in the first week of March. The game's revenue grew rapidly, hitting $13.5K in the same week, while weekly active users soared from 5.1K to 87.9K by mid-March.

Budge Studios' Thomas & Friends Minis maintained a steady if unspectacular performance. Revenue remained under $4K weekly, while downloads were consistent, staying near the 2K mark. Active users showed minimal variation, starting at 6.1K and slightly decreasing to 5.5K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Thomas & Friends: Go Go Thomas, also from Budge Studios, echoed a similar pattern to its counterpart. Revenue saw a small peak of $3.5K in January, with downloads ranging between 1.4K and 2K. Weekly active users began at 5.2K and ended the quarter just below that figure.
